AI Tutor (Spanish)

Location: Remote worldwide, subject to legal eligibility, time-zone compatibility, and role-specific needs; US candidates cannot be hired in Wyoming or Illinois

Salary: $35–$45 per hour for US-based candidates; compensation information for international candidates is provided during recruitment.

What you will do

• Label, annotate, record, and provide inputs for multilingual audio clips, voice recordings, speech samples, and other auditory data.
• Curate high-quality audio data representing natural speech, linguistic and prosodic details, accents, and professional recording standards.
• Collaborate with technical staff on tasks addressing speech modulation, accent variation, real-world recording noise, and multilingual audio processing.
• Improve annotation tools and workflows for efficient audio-data production.
• Support Grok’s voice interactions, speech recognition, and multilingual audio capabilities.

Requirements

• Native Spanish proficiency with exposure to diverse accents, dialects, or regional variations.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher, with clear and natural pronunciation suitable for audio recording.
• Strong auditory perception and the ability to identify pronunciation, intonation, rhythm, accent, and audio-quality nuances.
• High-accuracy audio transcription across different accents and recording conditions.
• Experience evaluating multilingual speech, cultural vocal expressions, contextual interpretation, and ambiguous or noisy audio.
• For personal-device work, a Chromebook, Mac with macOS 11.0 or later, or Windows 10 or later is required.

Nice to have

• Background in linguistics, phonetics, phonology, sociolinguistics, speech sciences, cognitive science, or a related field.
• Experience with speech or audio datasets, annotation workflows, AI training data, or voice-model training.
• Professional voice experience, including voice acting, voice recording, podcasting, or similar audio production.
• Advanced transcription and annotation experience covering disfluencies, accents, intonation, stress, rhythm, and emotion.
• Voice samples, annotated transcripts, or other audio-related portfolio work.
