What you will do
- Analyze consumer credit risk using large datasets, SQL, Python, and credit bureau information to improve underwriting policies.
- Collaborate with product, risk, and regional teams to migrate logic into ’s Global Underwriting Platform (GUP).
- Support rollout of consistent POS credit policies across multiple markets.
- Align purchase power and pre-qualification logic across ’s App and One Card.
- Optimize credit bureau strategies for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Translate complex data into actionable policy improvements balancing growth and risk.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field.
- Experience in consumer credit risk, underwriting, or credit policy roles.
- Proficient in SQL and comfortable with large datasets.
- Familiar with credit bureau data, repayment behavior, and credit risk modeling.
- Analytical and detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset.
- Effective communicator with strong policy translation skills.
