Analyst Engineer (Fintech)

TL;DR

Analyst Engineer (Fintech): Analyzing and mapping data to systems with a primary focus on a solid data foundation supporting operational reporting and analytics. Focus on data sourcing research, data mapping across multiple upstream and downstream systems, and data validation requirements.

Location: Must spend at least four full days each week working in an hirify.global office in Atlanta, Georgia or Houston, Texas.

What you will do

• Understand business and data needs across the organization, focusing on Distribution and Marketing.
• Analyze and deliver data requirements, including data sourcing research and data mapping.
• Work closely with the Data Management team to implement governance and policy around client data.
• Collaborate with business partners and development teams to collect information and perform research and analysis.
• Recommend process design/improvements, functional design, information architecture & design.
• Prepare documentation and processes to enable ongoing support of the systems.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems \ Computer Science is preferred or commensurate relevant work experience.
• Experience with Agile methodology and working on scrum teams.
• Experience with data governance and data warehousing concepts.
• Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business and data analysis and process flows.
• Good knowledge of SQL skills and experience in report tools (ie. Tableau, PowerBI, Alteryx).

Nice to have

• Subject matter knowledge in the Financial Industry in areas such as Dealer (dealer, branch, advisor, RIA etc…)
• Minimum 3-5 years of previous financials services/asset management industry experience.
• Technical background preferred.
