What you will do

• Define long-term design vision and lead large, end-to-end design projects for Business Banking products.
• Balance hands-on design execution with managing and developing a small team of designers.
• Partner cross-functionally with product, engineering, and research to identify opportunities and execute product strategy.
• Reduce product complexity and address systemic challenges to improve team delivery and impact.
• Act as a design ambassador, ensuring high standards for visual, UI, and interaction craft across the organization.
• Mentor designers and foster a culture of growth and collaboration within the design discipline.

Requirements

• Must be based in the UK or willing to relocate to the UK
• Expertise in a specific design discipline with strong foundational skills across all product design areas.
• Proven track record of managing designers while remaining hands-on with craft.
• Experience driving high-impact design work that achieves commercial goals and influences metrics.
• Strategic mindset capable of shaping direction across multiple squads in complex environments.
• Strong visual, UI, and interaction design skills for complex user experiences.
