What you will do

• Perform initial reviews of merchant applications and websites before AML submission.
• Verify the completeness and quality of KYC, legal, and corporate documentation packages.
• Identify inconsistencies or missing information and manage requests for corrections from clients.
• Conduct initial underwriting assessments of merchant business models, risk profiles, and transaction volumes.
• Prepare structured client files to reduce turnaround times for the compliance department.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with sales and AML teams to ensure smooth onboarding handoffs.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in merchant onboarding, acquiring, underwriting, or KYC operations.
• Practical experience with merchant website reviews and corporate document verification.
• Understanding of AML, CDD, and EDD principles in a risk-based environment.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify data inconsistencies.
• Experience working within fintech, PSP, EMI, or acquiring environments is an advantage.
• Excellent written communication skills for explaining complex documentation requirements.
