Card Operations Specialist (Fintech): Conducting thorough KYB and KYC checks on business clients to ensure regulatory compliance and mitigate risks during onboarding to Perk Pay with an accent on verifying business identity, ownership, and financial health. Focus on analysing documentation, identifying fraud risks, and collaborating with clients and internal teams to maintain operational integrity.

Location: Based within commuting distance of Zagreb hub (Croatia), IRL-first with 3 days in-person per week. Relocation support available for certain roles from anywhere in the world.

What you will do

  • Conduct KYB and KYC checks on new and existing clients, verifying identity, ownership, and financial health.
  • Gather, analyse, and validate documentation for regulatory compliance using databases and tools.
  • Communicate with clients via meetings and email to resolve documentation issues.
  • Collaborate with partners and internal teams on compliance, audits, and risk reviews.
  • Stay updated on regulations and contribute to KYB policies and procedures.
  • Provide reports to senior management on KYB status and emerging risks.

Requirements

  • Fluent in English; German fluency advantageous.
  • Degree in finance, business administration, or related field.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • High integrity and professionalism.

Nice to have

  • Experience in fast-paced Fintech or banking.
  • Fraud prevention and transaction monitoring experience.
  • B2B environment experience.
