What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers while acting as a hands-on contributor in the codebase.
• Drive architecture and design reviews to ensure maintainability, stability, and code quality across the department.
• Manage the team's maturity roadmap, including skill gap analysis and performance management.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to align technical strategy with business outcomes and roadmap deliverables.
• Optimize agile delivery frameworks like Scrum and Kanban to enhance team efficiency and focus.
• Act as a technical advocate in customer and partner engagements, bridging the gap between technical depth and commercial value.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading development or product teams (min 3 years).
• Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript.
• Experience working in a product-led SaaS environment.
• Ability to work from the London office 2 days per week.
• Willingness to travel regularly to the Ghent HQ.
• Deep understanding of the full product development lifecycle.

Nice to have

• Domain knowledge in accounting, audit, or tax software.
• Previous experience with Liquid.
• Proficiency in integrating AI-assisted tooling like GitHub Copilot or Cursor.
