Senior System Engineer (Infrastructure, Azure)

What you will do

• Design, implement, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure for customer banking runtimes.
• Maintain the availability, reliability, resilience, and scalability of managed hosting services.
• Implement cloud security, compliance, and disaster recovery best practices.
• Improve operational efficiency through automation and help control cloud costs.
• Participate in the on-call rotation and troubleshoot infrastructure-related incidents.
• Contribute to continuous learning and improvement across the Platform team.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in system engineering, including at least 3 years working with Azure cloud services.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure security, cloud-native technologies, and desired-state configuration.
• Proficiency with Terraform or OpenTofu, Helm Charts, Kubernetes, and Istio.
• Experience designing and implementing scalable, highly available cloud infrastructure.
• Strong communication, mentorship, and collaborative problem-solving skills.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Additional significant Azure experience.
• Software development experience.
• Networking experience, including VPN configuration.
