TL;DR

Sales Development Associate (ESG): Driving new business growth by identifying and converting leads into sales opportunities with an accent on cold calling, high-level discovery calls, and strategic prospecting. Focus on articulating the importance of CSR and sustainable supply chains to Global 500 companies, managing the full sales funnel, and leveraging data insights for performance tracking.

Location: Toronto

Salary: 50K to 57K (Base) + 15K to 18K(Variable)

What you will do

  • Drive new business by owning the full outreach motion, including LinkedIn, email, video, and cold calling.
  • Conduct high-level discovery and educational calls with Senior Executives to spark interest in ESG solutions.
  • Qualify opportunities using consultative questioning and schedule qualified meetings for Account Executives.
  • Research target accounts and map out key decision-makers who align with the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).
  • Partner with Marketing and AEs to develop localized call strategies, messaging, and targeted lead lists.
  • Manage all activity in Salesforce to track performance and identify trends.

Requirements

  • University degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Full professional proficiency in English.
  • Proactive approach and enthusiasm for building a sales career.
  • Experience (or desire) picking up the phone and engaging busy decision-makers professionally.
  • Familiarity with the modern sales stack, specifically AI tooling, Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Salesloft.
  • Natural curiosity for Sustainability, ESG, or CSR.
