Fullstack Engineer (Fintech)

TL;DR

Fullstack Engineer (Fintech): Working end-to-end on new features, enhancements, and defect resolution on hirify.global's software platforms with an accent on web application development in React as front end and Python/Django as a backend. Focus on system design, architecture, and trade-offs.

Location: Employees in this role will work in the office Monday-Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Friday.

Salary: $110,000 to $135,000 depending on level.

What you will do

• Web application development in React as front end and Python/Django as a backend.
• Participate in architecture reviews and technical design.
• Participate in Peer Code Reviews as part of our standard SDLC and Change.
• Work closely with the Product Management team throughout the software development process, detailing requirements, reviewing work in progress, and addressing issues found in manual test efforts.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience building enterprise SaaS cloud-based solutions.
• 3+ years of Python/Django development experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with modern JS frameworks such as React.
• 2+ years of front end and back-end test automation development using RSpec, Cucumber or similar.
• Demonstrated understanding of relational database concepts and modeling practices.
• Familiarity with cloud-based technologies – K8S, GCP/AWS etc.
• Ability to work in an Agile / Kanban methodology.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to software development.

Nice to have

• Technical leadership/management experience is a plus.
