Salary: $173,000–$255,000

What you will do

  • Own and deliver quarterly goals while leading engineers through ambiguous, open-ended problems.
  • Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics to define technical approaches and trade-offs.
  • Develop and maintain scalable backend systems and declarative web interfaces.
  • Leverage AI tools and agentic workflows to accelerate prototyping and development cycles.
  • Foster a culture of quality by setting design standards and mentoring team members.
  • Monitor system metrics and support on-call efforts to ensure service availability.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Must be based in the United States.
  • Experience designing and launching backend systems using Python, Kotlin, AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.
  • Experience shipping web applications with React or Vue.
  • Proficiency in leveraging AI-assisted development and agentic coding workflows.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
