TL;DR

Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack (Fintech): Building platforms and end-to-end consumer growth experiences across push, email, app, and web with an accent on personalization, segmentation, and experimentation. Focus on developing scalable tooling, optimizing conversion and activation, and launching backend systems at scale.

Location: Remote (Canada)

Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 CAD

What you will do

  • Own and deliver quarterly goals, leading engineers through ambiguous and open-ended problems.
  • Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics to articulate technical constraints and trade-offs.
  • Proactively identify and solve project, process, and technology issues.
  • Manage operations and availability of team artifacts through monitoring and on-call support.
  • Improve code review and design standards to foster a culture of quality and ownership.
  • Provide guidance and feedback to help develop talent within the engineering team.

Requirements

  • Must be based in Canada.
  • 4+ years of experience as a software engineer.
  • Experience leading mobile initiatives using React Native or native (Swift/Kotlin).
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and declarative UI frameworks like React or Vue.
  • Experience designing and launching scalable backend systems using Python, Kotlin, AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with a global team.
