Salary: $130,000 – $180,000/year

What you will do

• Architect and lead the development of a next-generation identity platform supporting SSO, account federation, and authorization.
• Build and scale high-performance Golang microservices for token management and access control.
• Embed Zero Trust principles and standardize access governance across all services.
• Integrate industry-standard protocols including OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, and SCIM.
• Mentor engineering teams on secure service design and identity best practices.
• Define data security standards and support compliance initiatives like GDPR, SOC 2, and ISO 27001.

Requirements

• 10+ years in backend or systems engineering with 5+ years focusing on IAM or authentication services.
• Expert proficiency in Golang and experience scaling distributed, event-driven microservices.
• Deep understanding of authentication standards like OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, and JWT.
• Experience with high-availability systems in Kubernetes environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Strong architectural vision and ability to influence cross-team technology direction.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration within distributed teams.

Nice to have

• Background in security engineering, DevSecOps, or compliance automation.
• Experience with multi-tenant architectures and Policy-as-Code frameworks (OPA).
• Contributions to open-source Golang or IAM projects.
