What you will do

• Lead the development of scalable, secure authentication frameworks and tools.
• Work across the full stack to support internal and external customer-facing identity systems.
• Collaborate with security and engineering teams to implement industry-standard authentication protocols like OAuth, OIDC, and SAML.
• Analyze complex technical requirements and deliver high-performance, customer-specific login solutions.
• Modernize legacy authentication systems to improve security and extensibility.
• Set and uphold high engineering standards for quality, reliability, and security across the platform.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US or Canada.
• 8+ years of professional experience in software engineering, specifically within Identity and Access Management.
• Proficiency in backend development with Golang.
• Strong experience with modern frontend frameworks, specifically React or Angular.
• Deep understanding of authentication protocols including OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML 2.0, and FIDO 2.0.
• Solid foundation in database design (Postgres/Redis), containerization (Kubernetes), and cloud services (AWS).
