Salary: $96,100 – $128,100 USD annually.

What you will do
- Design and execute Medicaid-focused research, including policy analyses and program evaluations.
- Apply quantitative methods to analyze Medicaid administrative data such as claims, encounters, and eligibility files.
- Translate complex analytic findings into actionable insights for federal and state Medicaid stakeholders.
- Support proposal development by contributing to analytic approaches and technical sections.
- Manage project tasks and coordinate effectively with internal multidisciplinary teams and external clients.
- Mentor junior staff by modeling best practices in quantitative and policy research.
Requirements
- PhD in Economics, Public Policy, Health Services Research, Statistics, or related field OR a Master's degree with 4+ years of relevant quantitative research experience.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis; visa sponsorship is not available.
- Demonstrated experience in applied quantitative research related to Medicaid or public insurance programs.
- Proficiency with data analysis tools such as SAS, SQL, Stata, R, or Python.
- Experience interpreting results for reports, briefs, or presentations.
- Strong understanding of Medicaid data structures and program rules.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with CMS data sources and Medicare programs.
- Knowledge of waiver demonstrations such as 1115 waivers.
- Experience with value-based payment models.
