Location: Must be based in the United States (remote or hybrid in Crystal City, VA / Chicago, IL).
Salary: $93,800 – $110,000 USD per year.

What you will do
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis including budget preparation, forecasting, and financial modeling for government contracts.
- Manage contract costs to ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines and maximize efficiency.
- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to support organizational growth.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations and accounting standards, assisting in internal and external audits.
- Collaborate with project managers and contract administrators to provide expertise throughout the contract lifecycle.
- Evaluate financial risks and develop mitigation strategies for complex contract negotiations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
- Minimum of 5 years of financial analysis experience, specifically within government contracting.
- Strong knowledge of government contracting principles (FAR/DFARS) and cost accounting standards.
- Must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong communication skills for presenting data to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience with Deltek, SAP, or Oracle financial systems.
- Advanced credentials such as an MBA or CPA.
- Proficiency in analytical tools like Costpoint, Cognos, Tableau, or Power BI.
