What you will do

• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis including budget preparation, forecasting, and financial modeling for government contracts.
• Manage contract costs to ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines and maximize efficiency.
• Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to support organizational growth.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations and accounting standards, assisting in internal and external audits.
• Collaborate with project managers and contract administrators to provide expertise throughout the contract lifecycle.
• Evaluate financial risks and develop mitigation strategies for complex contract negotiations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• Minimum of 5 years of financial analysis experience, specifically within government contracting.
• Strong knowledge of government contracting principles (FAR/DFARS) and cost accounting standards.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication skills for presenting data to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with Deltek, SAP, or Oracle financial systems.
• Advanced credentials such as an MBA or CPA.
• Proficiency in analytical tools like Costpoint, Cognos, Tableau, or Power BI.
