TL;DR

Associate General Counsel (Legal): Providing comprehensive legal guidance for hirify.global and its portfolio companies with an accent on commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, and cybersecurity matters. Focus on driving compliance standards, navigating complex corporate legal challenges, and collaborating across diverse business units to support organizational growth.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Tysons, Virginia (Hybrid: 4 days per week in office)

What you will do

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of software, technology, licensing, and commercial agreements.
  • Provide expert legal counsel on commercial terms, privacy, security, and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with executive, sales, product, and IT teams to scale legal and business processes.
  • Develop and implement robust compliance policies to enhance business standards.
  • Support strategic corporate initiatives including intellectual property and financial reporting.

Requirements

  • J.D. from a leading law school.
  • 5+ years of relevant in-house or large law firm experience.
  • Membership in, or eligibility for admission to, the Virginia Bar.
  • Expertise in negotiating commercial contracts and navigating legal matters such as IP, litigation, and compliance.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US; no sponsorship available.
  • Excellent judgment and ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
