TL;DR

Regional Sales Director (EdTech): Managing the full sales cycle to drive new business and expand relationships within the K–12 and higher education sectors with an accent on prospecting, pipeline generation, and closing complex deals. Location: Must be based in San Francisco or New York (Hybrid)

Salary: $150,000–$200,000 OTE

What you will do

  • Own the full sales cycle from initial discovery to contract negotiation and closing.
  • Develop and manage leads across K–12 districts, state agencies, and higher education institutions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with superintendents, CTOs, CIOs, and curriculum leaders.
  • Lead product demonstrations tailored to address district-specific educational outcomes.
  • Develop territory plans and forecast revenue accurately to meet annual targets.
  • Collaborate with product and marketing teams to refine go-to-market strategies.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of selling into educational institutions.
  • Deep understanding of EdTech procurement cycles and funding dynamics.
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles and building relationships with senior education leadership.
  • Ability to work from the office in San Francisco or New York.
  • Strong proficiency in CRM management and reporting.
