What you will do

  • Deploy and maintain machine learning systems in real-world production environments.
  • Make critical system-level decisions regarding architecture, performance, reliability, and cost.
  • Build and optimize APIs for AI-driven applications using modern backend frameworks.
  • Implement MLOps practices including CI/CD, model versioning, and infrastructure as code.
  • Collaborate on complex technical reviews and system design discussions with peers.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional experience building and deploying ML systems in production.
  • Must be based in LATAM.
  • Strong expertise in Python and deep learning fundamentals.
  • Experience with NLP and modern frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Hugging Face.
  • Proven background in backend development with FastAPI or Flask and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP).
  • Strong proficiency in English to clearly communicate technical decisions.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with containerization and infrastructure as code.
  • Prior experience in high-load production environments.
