Salary: $142,800 – $223,400 USD annually

What you will do

• Design and develop GenAI, deep learning, and reinforcement learning solutions for ad retrieval and whole-page relevance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams of scientists, engineers, and product managers to bring scalable science solutions to production.
• Identify and implement industry-leading algorithms and methodologies to enhance scientific rigor and experimental velocity.
• Mentor junior scientists and engineers to foster a high-performing and intellectually curious team environment.
• Stay current with advancements in LLMs and foundational models to prototype and integrate innovative concepts into the organization.

Requirements

• PhD or Master's degree in CS, CE, ML, or a related field with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience building machine learning models for business applications.
• Proficiency in programming with Java, C++, or Python.
• Strong background in GenAI, deep learning, optimization, and probabilistic modeling.
• Proven track record of deploying models into real-world production environments.

Nice to have

• Expertise in retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), reinforcement learning from human feedback (RLHF), or multi-modal modeling.
• Hands-on experience with ads ranking, recommendation systems, or personalization at web scale.
• Familiarity with online experimentation, A/B testing, and computational advertising metrics.
