What you will do
- Lead and mentor a Cloud/Platform engineering team to foster continuous improvement and technical growth.
- Drive platform performance by resolving bottlenecks, ensuring accountability, and maintaining efficient delivery cycles.
- Champion the adoption of AI tools and methodologies across day-to-day operations and large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Define and enforce platform engineering best practices including scalability, reliability, and operational excellence.
- Embed DevSecOps principles such as security, monitoring, compliance, and automation directly into the platform lifecycle.
- Partner with Product and Engineering managers to align platform strategy with broader business and product outcomes.
Requirements
- Proven leadership experience managing Cloud or Platform engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Expertise in Azure and modern cloud technologies and tooling.
- Deep understanding of scalable system architectures and containerized environments.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge gaps between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience fostering a culture of reliability, performance, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to remain hands-on technically while leading cross-functional teams.
