What you will do

• Lead the implementation and optimization of Azure data platform capabilities including Data Factory and Synapse.
• Define and embed Infrastructure as Code best practices using Terraform or Bicep.
• Drive the adoption of containerization and orchestration through Azure Kubernetes Service.
• Establish robust monitoring and observability frameworks using Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
• Manage and optimize cloud expenditure through Azure Cost Management and FinOps principles.
• Mentor and develop cloud engineering talent while evaluating emerging Azure technologies.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work from Hove, UK
• Strong expertise in Azure networking and hybrid connectivity (ExpressRoute, VPN Gateway, Private Endpoints).
• Proven track record in deploying and scaling Azure Kubernetes Service in production.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code, particularly Terraform using CAF modules.
• Deep knowledge of Azure identity, access management, and security best practices.
