TL;DR

Senior Design System Engineer (UIUX): Architecting and maintaining a multi-platform design system infrastructure with an accent on design tokens, Figma plugin development, and cross-platform UI consistency. Focus on building accessible, scalable design foundations and driving technical strategy across web, iOS, and Android ecosystems.

Location: Hybrid (minimum of 2 days in the office each week).

What you will do

  • Own the technical vision and architecture of the multi-platform design system.
  • Develop platform-agnostic infrastructure, including design tokens, Figma plugins, and shared utilities.
  • Align cross-functional engineering teams around design system goals and roadmaps.
  • Drive continuous improvement of design system metrics and accessibility standards.
  • Advocate for design system adoption across the global engineering organization.
  • Lead large-scale technical projects impacting millions of users worldwide.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a design system team or as a core contributor to system initiatives.
  • Background in leading engineers on complex, cross-team projects.
  • Practical experience working with multiple platforms, specifically web, iOS, Android, or React Native.
  • Strong systems thinking skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity.
  • Excellent communication skills for representing engineering interests to diverse stakeholders.

Nice to have

  • Experience in implementing advanced accessibility standards in large-scale UI projects.
  • Experience with technical metrics and performance monitoring for design systems.
