Senior Manager, Reporting & Sox (Fintech)

Senior Manager, Reporting & Sox (Fintech): Supporting external reporting and SOX compliance, including process design and monitoring, within a growing international biotech company. Focus on process improvement initiatives, documentation, and assessment of related controls to a SOX standard as the company progresses through commercialization.

Location: Remote on the east coast in United States or hybrid in our New York City office.

Salary: $126,000 - $154,000 USD

What you will do

• Work closely with the Senior Director, Controller and Director of External Reporting on quarterly and annual reporting processes including interactions with external audit.
• Lead SOX process design, documentation, and monitoring (currently 404(a); anticipating 404(b)).
• Ensure accurate documentation and controls for evolution of processes through cross-functional collaboration.
• Support the internal audit program and partner with our external partner (RSM), to ensure the controls which they operate are appropriately evidenced.
• Prepare technical accounting memos as required.

Requirements

• CPA qualified – Big 4 accounting experience preferred.
• High quality academic background.
• Operates as a self-starter and can work independently.
• Attentive to detail, data integrity and accuracy.
• Fast paced, ambitious, independent and with a strong work ethic.
• Must have employment rights in the country to which you are applying.
