What you will do
- Lead the Shared Services team across five core pillars including Controls Assurance, Governance, and Transformation.
- Represent in regulatory engagements and industry forums to enhance relationships and manage external requirements.
- Elevate the control environment maturity by pioneering proactive risk management practices.
- Aggregate and challenge risk assessment outputs to inform current and future business practices.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration between the three lines of defence to address control gaps.
- Drive RCD change programmes, including the integration of automation and AI.
Requirements
- Exceptional risk and control expertise within UK banks, financial services, or fintech.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders in complex matrix environments.
- Strong track record managing 1st line risk in growing business settings.
- Data-driven decision-making and analytical capabilities.
- Resilience and adaptability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving landscapes.
- Must have the right to work in the UK.
