TL;DR

Salary: $200,000 – $235,000

hirify.global is an early-stage startup building automation software for cybersecurity, privacy, and financial audit practitioners to enable trust in commerce.

What you will do

  • Act as a strategic partner to Finance leadership to build and scale the accounting team.
  • Own and improve month-end and quarter-end close processes, driving toward a 5-day close.
  • Prepare accurate financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Establish accounting policies for revenue recognition (ASC 606), stock-based compensation, and technical areas.
  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and treasury functions.
  • Design internal controls and lead preparations for the company's first external audit.

Requirements

  • CPA with public accounting/audit experience required (Big 4 preferred).
  • 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Deep expertise in SaaS revenue recognition (ASC 606) and technical accounting.
  • Experience leading companies through first-time external audits or IPO-readiness.
  • Proven track record of building teams at high-growth companies (Series B–D experience).
  • Experience implementing or optimizing financial systems like NetSuite.

Nice to have

  • Public company or IPO experience.
  • Experience with international entities and multi-currency accounting.
  • Familiarity with SOX 404 compliance frameworks.
