TL;DR

Software Engineer (Backend): Building and managing rollout mechanisms for the Atlas data plane with an accent on distributed systems, high availability, and platform stability. Location: Must be based in New York and able to work in a hybrid or in-office model.

Salary: $126,000–$248,000

What you will do

  • Design and implement new features for the hirify.global Atlas platform.
  • Lead complex technical projects and contribute to the product roadmap.
  • Manage software lifecycles, including pre-release validation and observability.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to ensure platform reliability.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to define best practices and design principles.
  • Maintain system performance and security for a massive global user base.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Must be based in New York, NY.
  • Strong proficiency in large-scale distributed backend systems using compiled languages (Go, Java, C#, etc.).
  • Proven experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Successful track record of leading and maintaining critical features in production.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
