TL;DR
Senior Data Scientist (AI) (SQL/Python): Driving evidence-based product decisions for an AI customer agent through metrics, exploratory analysis, quantitative research, and end-to-end data pipelines with an accent on product analytics, statistical reasoning, and scalable data products. Focus on building self-serve dashboards and models, automating analytical workflows with AI tools, and translating complex findings into product strategy and measurable outcomes.
Location: London, England; hybrid working with at least three days per week in the office

What you will do
- Partner with product teams to identify important questions and answer them with data.
- Work with product managers, designers, and engineers to define product success metrics, set targets, measure outcomes, and size opportunities.
- Design, build, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines while improving data collection and source tables.
- Partner with product researchers to develop a holistic understanding of customers, products, and business performance.
- Influence product strategy and roadmaps through exploratory analysis and quantitative research.
- Build scalable data products, automate workflows, and communicate recommendations across R&D and the wider company.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience using data to solve problems and support evidence-based decisions.
- Strong SQL skills, solid statistical knowledge, and experience with a scientific computing language such as Python.
- Experience working closely with product teams and delivering actionable insights with measurable impact.
- Strong product intuition, business acumen, ownership, curiosity, and a growth mindset.
- Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to use AI tools such as Claude Code and Cursor, automate workflows, and work effectively in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
Nice to have
- Experience with data modeling and ETL pipelines, especially dbt.
- Experience building internal tools, data products, or self-serve analytics capabilities.
- Experience applying AI throughout the data workflow, from ideation and coding to analysis and communication.
