Senior/Staff Site Reliability, Platform Engineering

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain shared infrastructure services and reusable platform components for product and application teams.
• Architect and operate highly available Kubernetes platforms, multi-cloud infrastructure, and multi-region services.
• Develop internal tools and automation primarily in Go and Python for infrastructure provisioning and management.
• Build shared event-driven architecture, messaging, CI/CD, distributed systems, RESTful API, service mesh, and relational database platforms.
• Establish centralized observability and monitoring capabilities with self-service insights for consuming teams.
• Collaborate with development teams, provide technical guidance, and participate in on-call rotations for critical infrastructure.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a Staff SRE focused on building tools and services for other engineers.
• Deep production experience with Kubernetes, including single-tenant and multi-tenant platform architectures.
• Strong programming skills in Go and Python, with experience building maintainable backend services and automation.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure; experience with multi-cloud abstractions is an advantage.
• Experience with event-driven architecture, messaging systems, CI/CD, distributed systems, observability, service mesh, RESTful APIs, and relational databases.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical or military experience.
