What you will do

• Act as the primary authority on ASC 606, drafting and maintaining revenue recognition policies and technical memos.
• Oversee the configuration and optimization of NetSuite ARM, ensuring accurate revenue arrangements and alignment with contractual terms.
• Partner with Sales, Legal, and Sales Operations to review contracts and provide guidance on deal structuring.
• Lead the revenue close process, including the review of journal entries and reconciliations.
• Manage the relationship with external auditors for all revenue-related matters and ensure effective internal controls.
• Provide insights into key SaaS performance indicators (ARR, Churn, Net Retention, etc.).

Requirements

• Comprehensive understanding of the five-step model for revenue recognition within the software and SaaS industry (ASC 606).
• Direct, hands-on experience managing and/or auditing revenue within the NetSuite Advanced Revenue Management module.
• Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 4 years specifically in a high-growth SaaS environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA license is highly preferred.
• Ability to translate complex technical accounting standards into actionable business processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
