What you will do

• Design, develop, and optimize software to enable advanced robotics tasks.
• Integrate new capabilities into real-world unmanned aerial platforms.
• Develop software interfaces to communicate with internal and external stakeholder systems.
• Write and supervise the development of clean, efficient, and maintainable C++ and Python code.
• Contribute to robust development and test pipelines for large-scale dataset evaluation and resimulation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience in a C++ environment.
• Strong architecture, abstraction, and design skills.
• Hands-on experience writing software for robotics or computer vision applications.
• Experience with robotics middleware such as ROS2 or protobuf and Linux-based development.
• Proficiency with Git, code reviews, integration testing, and CI/CD workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience in autonomous driving or similar robotics development.
• Familiarity with SLAM, sensor fusion, motion planning, or real-time systems.
• Experience with drone software platforms like Ardupilot or Betaflight.
• Familiarity with defense software platforms such as ATAK.
