Senior Engineer, Autonomy Software Integration (AI)

What you will do

• Integrate autonomy algorithms, perception pipelines, middleware, platform interfaces, and new capabilities into the Hivemind platform.
• Configure, deploy, and validate multi-agent systems across simulation, software-in-the-loop, hardware-in-the-loop, and flight environments.
• Lead autonomy software bring-up on new robotic hardware platforms, including sensor drivers, communication interfaces, and platform adapters.
• Develop integration frameworks, deployment scripts, configuration-management tools, and debugging utilities.
• Diagnose integration defects using logs, telemetry, and rosbag data, and coordinate resolution across subsystem boundaries.
• Improve CI/CD integration pipelines and define release-readiness checkpoints, requirements, and interface validation criteria.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, robotics, or a related field, or 2 years with a master's degree.
• Proficiency in Python or C++ and experience with autonomous systems, server applications, or middleware.
• Experience designing integration workflows, communicating system dependencies, and triaging defects across subsystem boundaries.
• Experience with simulation tools, hardware-in-the-loop testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving, software delivery, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with complex system architecture, hardware or embedded systems, ROS, and white-box testing.
• Knowledge of networking, operating systems, and radio communications.
• Experience creating automated testing tools for GUI and server applications.
