TL;DR

Business Development Manager (Payments): Driving the expansion of payment solutions in the Greater China region with an accent on strategic partnership management and high-level stakeholder engagement. Focus on building and executing end-to-end sales strategies and managing complex deal cycles within the merchant acquiring ecosystem.

Location: Must be based in or able to work in Hong Kong

What you will do

  • Create and execute comprehensive business development plans for the Greater China region.
  • Lead the end-to-end sales cycle, from initial engagement to go-live.
  • Build and manage strategic partnerships with payment ecosystem stakeholders, including acquirers, PSPs, and POS/PMS providers.
  • Develop sales strategies to maximize market share and identify new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with C-suite stakeholders to close high-value deals.
  • Ensure smooth service delivery by bridging customer needs with internal back-office teams.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of B2B business development experience in the payments industry.
  • Extensive experience negotiating with C-level executives.
  • Established professional network of PSPs, Acquirers, Banks, and Tier-1 Merchants.
  • Deep understanding of the merchant acquiring ecosystem and payment value chain.
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
  • Strong background in Business, Economics, or Engineering.
