🟢 AI Software Engineer

We’re working with a startup that’s already #1 in its niche, building AI agent for Managed Service Providers. The core idea is a single universal agent that can reason, decide, and act across real-world systems.
The company has achieved product-market fit, raised funding, and is part of a Microsoft partnership program.

The team is now looking for an AI Software Engineer.

📌 Tasks:
- Build and evolve agent-based systems (LLMs, tools, skills) that operate in real-world environments.
- Design and implement agent capabilities that interact with external systems (APIs, infrastructure, enterprise tools).
- Work closely with MSP customers to understand real-world workflows and translate them into agent behavior.
- Design secure execution environments (sandboxing, guardrails, attack surface mitigation).
- Enable agents to dynamically generate and safely execute code (e.g. PowerShell, API calls).
- Design and optimize agent decision-making in complex, non-deterministic workflows.

📌 Candidate profile:
- Strong software engineering fundamentals.
- Experience working with LLMs.
- Experience building agent-based systems (commercial or personal projects).
- Active use of AI tools and coding agents in daily work.
- Understanding the difference between a workflow/pipeline and an autonomous agent.
- High ownership mindset (there are no product managers in the company).
- Proactive and opinionated.
- Comfortable working in a startup.
- Fluent in English.

📌 Nice-to-have:
- Experience with distributed systems or system design.
- Python experience.
- Background in Y Combinator companies.
