TL;DR

Manager Technology M&A (Advisory): Delivering enterprise technology diligence and execution support for Private Equity and strategic clients with an accent on cloud platforms, IT operating models, and data strategy. Focus on analyzing complex quantitative and qualitative data to identify transaction risks and value creation opportunities during buy-side and sell-side engagements.

Location: Must be based in the US (Chicago, IL, Boston, MA, Los Angeles, CA, or New York, NY offices). This is a hybrid role requiring in-person attendance at least three days per week.

Salary: $128,000 – $207,400

What you will do

• Execute enterprise technology diligence workstreams for buy-side and sell-side transactions.
• Assess core enterprise applications, cloud infrastructure, data platforms, and IT operating models.
• Perform qualitative and quantitative analyses to identify investment risks and opportunities.
• Develop diligence deliverables connecting technology findings to business impact and value implications.
• Support integration, separation, and remediation planning, including cloud optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Financial Due Diligence, Cyber, and Strategy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, IT, or Accounting.
• 5+ years of experience in technology diligence, IT advisory, or consulting supporting transactions.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms, deployment models, and operating economics.
• Experience working on Private Equity-backed transactions.
• Experience analyzing complex data sets and synthesizing insights for client-facing communication.
• Ability to travel up to 50% as needed.

Nice to have

• Experience with SaaS or digital platform business models.
• Exposure to AI-enabled initiatives or automation.
• Background in software product engineering.
