Location: Hybrid (Berlin, Germany) - 8 days office attendance per month required.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain AI-driven product features using LLM APIs.
• Build and optimize RAG systems including document parsing and retrieval pipelines.
• Develop scalable backend systems using FastAPI and modern Python tools.
• Create agent orchestration systems for complex, multi-step legal workflows.
• Build infrastructure for AI evaluations, benchmarking, and continuous monitoring.
• Collaborate with product and legal engineering teams to prototype and refine AI solutions.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work from Berlin, Germany (Hybrid role).
• Extensive experience integrating LLMs via APIs in production products.
• Proficiency with Python, FastAPI, and data science libraries.
• Strong understanding of software engineering and security best practices.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Experience with modern AI developer tools like Cursor, Claude Code, or Copilot.

Nice to have

• Experience with TypeScript and frontend development.
• German language fluency.
