TL;DR

Scrum Master (Product Services): Supporting the delivery of a large-scale federal workforce training and learning management program with an accent on translating program priorities into actionable work and maintaining team momentum. Focus on balancing Agile practices with federal program expectations and ensuring alignment of product strategy with client goals.

Location: Primarily remote, must be available to attend in-person customer meetings at the client’s headquarters in Baltimore, Maryland, as needed.

Salary: $85,832 - $113,500

What you will do

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Maintain and manage team backlogs in coordination with product owners, business analysts, and program leadership.
• Track and report on Agile delivery metrics to support transparency and data-driven decision-making.
• Identify, escalate, and help resolve impediments that impact team productivity.
• Ensure user stories, acceptance criteria, and tasks are clearly defined and aligned with stakeholder expectations.
• Foster a team environment that emphasizes accountability, continuous improvement, and open communication.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience supporting Agile delivery in federal or large-scale enterprise environments.
• Demonstrated experience serving as a Scrum Master or Agile Project Coordinator for cross-functional teams.
• Experience managing Agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms for backlog tracking and reporting.
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and ability to apply them in structured, compliance-driven environments.
• Experience supporting federal clients and working within government delivery environments is highly desirable.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS), instructional design workflows, or workforce training programs.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PMI-ACP, or equivalent Agile certification is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Project Management, or related field is required.
