What you will do
- Ensure smooth implementation of Scrum and Agile principles within the scrum team.
- Remove any roadblocks the scrum team cannot clear themselves to ensure successful sprint delivery.
- Promote Agile ideas beyond your team, acting as a "Change-Agent".
- Coordinate and facilitate Scrum meetings such as daily standup, sprint planning, release planning, and retrospective.
- Support, educate, engage, and mentor team members, including the Product Owner, managers, and other stakeholders, on Agile principles.
- Ensure the team backlog is ready and monitor retrospective items for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Release Management or leading development/QA teams for 3 years.
- Experienced Scrum Master in a global R&D organization for 2 years.
- Extensive experience using Scrum and deep understanding of Agile principles, practices, and values.
- Excellent soft skills and interpersonal relationship abilities.
- Possess a servant leader attitude with strong leadership skills and a desire for continuous improvement.
- Ability to adapt, be flexible, and work well in a cross-functional, matrix management environment.
