Senior Consultant (Energy Supply Chain)

Senior Consultant (Energy Supply Chain): Responsible for execution and delivery on projects, developing and delivering insights drawn from industry data and experience with an accent on market research and subject matter expertise. Focus on helping energy clients make effective supply chain and capital project execution decisions.

Location: Must work in close proximity to one of the offices in Houston, Boston, or New York.

Salary: $95,000 - $105,000 USD

What you will do

• Provide deep analysis of quantitative and qualitative data and synthesize results into meaningful conclusions.
• Perform market research to assess supply and demand factors influencing strategic business decisions.
• Support the bidding processes for large capital project contracts and strategic supply chain initiatives.
• Use WoodMac Energy Intelligence Platform software tools to analyze spend, build custom cost models, forecast escalation, and manage eSourcing bid events.
• Coordinate / communicate with client supply chain stakeholders as they design and implement supply chain strategies.
• Act as a mentor to Consultants on Supply Chain Consulting team and guide their efforts to facilitate successful project execution.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree with focus in engineering, science, supply chain or business required, Master's degree is preferred.
• 3+ years in a Consulting, Supply Chain, Operations, or Engineering function; experience within the Power & Renewables and/or Oil & Gas sectors is preferred.
• Exceptional analytical, problem solving, and time management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel 60- 80% of the time (post-COVID restrictions).
