It Systems Engineer, Enterprise Saas (AI): Owns the collaboration and productivity platforms every person at hirify.global touches every day, including Google Workspace and Slack, with an accent on tenant-wide architecture, API-level integration, and governance. Focus on data governance for collaboration content, the application side of SSO and SCIM provisioning, and integrations that fill gaps the vendors left open.

Location: Remote-Friendly (Travel-Required) | San Francisco, CA | Seattle, WA | New York City, NY. Currently, all staff are expected to be in one of the offices at least 25% of the time.

Salary: $275,000 - $325,000 USD

What you will do

• Own tenant-wide architecture for Google Workspace, Slack, and core collaboration platforms.
• Design compartmentalization and data-governance models that scale with the company.
• Build integrations and automation against SaaS APIs to automate provisioning and catch drift.
• Configure the application side of SSO connections and SCIM attribute mappings.
• Serve as the final escalation tier for platform issues Support can't resolve.
• Partner with Security on SaaS hardening, third-party app governance, and compliance controls.

Requirements

• Have 8+ years building secure IT systems in complex environments — or, for Staff-level: have led cross-team projects that changed how an organization operates.
• Have deep, hands-on experience with at least one major enterprise platform — Google Workspace, Slack, Microsoft 365, or an enterprise identity provider — meaning you've gone past the admin console and solved problems in code.
• Have built integrations against SaaS APIs, not just configured through consoles.
• Have been the final escalation tier.
• We require at least a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Have transformed traditional IT operations into engineering-driven organizations.
• Have built strong partnerships with Security and Engineering teams.
• Have experience with Infrastructure as Code approaches to SaaS configuration.
• Have designed data governance or access controls for collaboration platforms.
• Have Microsoft 365 administration experience (Entra ID, Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online).
