What you will do

• Perform complex fraud investigations using a wide variety of data.
• Provide leadership support by addressing complex cases and finding resolutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams on project work aligned with team objectives.
• Minimize fraudulent activities, identify risk exposure, and highlight fraud trends.
• Provide suggestions on how to improve processes, workflows, and policies.
• Promote a positive and proactive culture within the team.

Requirements

• 4+ years of merchant fraud underwriting/adjudicating experience in payments or fintech.
• Strong credit risk experience with the ability to identify high-risk businesses.
• Understanding of best practices for preventing service-related chargebacks.
• Fraud and/or compliance risk experience in monitoring accounts and transactions.
• Experience working with rule-based fraud detection tools.
• Excellent communication skills to manage relationships with small business owners.
