What you will do

• Investigate alerts from third-party vendors, alert systems, and transaction monitoring solutions.
• Conduct complex risk investigations and escalate instances of financial crime requiring a SAR.
• Monitor chargeback data to identify emerging trends and risks.
• Work directly with suppliers to proactively resolve risk-related flags.
• Liaise with external authorities for information requests.
• Collaborate with internal teams on customer inquiries or risk-related issues.
• Assist with applying Card Scheme rules and global payment legislation.

Requirements

• At least 2 years working in Risk or Underwriting, ideally within Merchant Acquiring, E-Commerce, SaaS, or a similar FinTech role.
• Experience reviewing web monitoring alerts (e.g., EverCompliant, Webshield, G2).
• Experience reviewing alerts related to chargebacks, transaction-laundering, and fraud.
• Familiarity with the specific risks associated with SaaS.
• Experience working with businesses to resolve risk-related flags.
• Experience reviewing PEPs & Sanctions alerts.
• Strong data analysis and investigative skills.
