Technical Recruiter (AI/ML)

TL;DR

Technical Recruiter (AI/ML): Scaling the engineering, product, and business teams with an accent on AI/ML, software engineering, and adjacent teams. Focus on full cycle hiring, sourcing, closing out candidates, and partnering closely with hiring managers.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end recruiting across technical and non-technical functions as the company scales.
• Partner with founders and hiring managers to define and refine roles, interview processes, and closing strategies.
• Craft compelling job descriptions and sourcing strategies to engage exceptional, hard-to-reach candidates.
• Champion inclusive hiring best practices.
• Take lead on all things People Ops, including generating offers, onboarding new hires, and handling visa logistics.

Requirements

• 5+ years of recruiting experience, ideally in-house at an early-stage startup.
• Proven success hiring highly technical talent in competitive markets (engineering, AI/ML, data, and infrastructure roles).
• Experience creating recruiting systems/processes from scratch or significantly improving existing ones.
• Exceptional communication and candidate experience instincts.
• Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable working in ambiguity.
• Passion for AI and the opportunity to shape a team working at the edge of what’s possible.

Nice to have

• Experience as a founder, or startup building experience.
• Experience hiring for non-technical roles (G&A, GTM).
• Experience building out roles/processes in Ashby.
