What you will do

• Oversee and track identified issues, validating task completion.
• Research escalated issues to pinpoint causes and customer impact.
• Assess the material significance and relevance of identified compliance risks.
• Collaborate with department leaders to identify solutions that reduce compliance risk and implement customer remediation efforts.
• Review business-proposed changes for compliance risks.
• Identify risk trends and conduct trend analysis for Corrective Action reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Finance, Business, IT, or Economics.
• 3+ years of experience in consumer lending, preferably at a Fintech.
• Proficient knowledge of consumer financial regulations.
• Proficient with data queries such as SQL & JIRA.
• Intermediate or better analysis skills including Excel or Google Sheets.
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines with attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Project Management Software skills, experience with Monday a plus.
• Experience working with external parties such as Bank Partners, Auditors, etc.
• Experience identifying process/program efficiencies and willingness to lead change efforts.
