What you will do

  • Act as forum secretary for the Platform’s governance forums.
  • Manage consumer duty-related matters for the Customer Proposition team, including foreseeable harms, conflicts of interest, and material controls.
  • Oversee the Platform annual product reviews.
  • Respond to ad-hoc regulatory and executive-level questions about Consumer Duty, governance, or the Customer Proposition.
  • Perform analysis and investigation of product-related matters and author papers on findings for the Platform forums.
  • Coordinate the Platform Proposition Risks & Controls Self-Assessment.

Requirements

  • Highly organised and self-starting with the ability to develop strong peer relationships across the organisation.
  • An excellent understanding of the market and industry, with experience in Consumer Duty and Product Governance.
  • An excellent understanding of all relevant regulatory bodies and associated principles, able to interpret and apply them where required.
  • Able to distil complex discussions on wide-ranging topics into a coherent set of decisions and actions.
  • An in-depth understanding of products, services, and best practice within the platform market.
  • Strong communication, numeracy and literacy skills.
