Salary: £82,700 – £96,500 (depending on location).

What you will do
- Lead and empower assessment management teams to deliver high-quality, valid, and reliable assessment materials.
- Drive productivity and continuous improvement initiatives across assessment creation workflows.
- Ensure subject portfolios meet rigorous regulatory standards, best practices, and house style requirements.
- Build and maintain inclusive, high-performing teams while managing relationships with Chief Examiners and associates.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to translate assessment design innovations into practical, scalable solutions.
- Analyze data-driven insights to guide decision-making and enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven people leadership experience within a complex assessment or educational environment.
- Deep expertise in assessment design, including validity, reliability, and regulatory principles.
- Experience leading teams through significant organizational change.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, specifically influencing senior leaders and working with subject experts.
- Proficiency in using data to identify productivity gaps and implement effective improvements.
- Must be eligible to work in the UK and able to perform hybrid duties in Manchester, Guildford, or London.

- Formal qualification in assessment.
- Experience with digital assessment transformation and future-tech opportunities in the sector.
