What you will do

• Lead a globally distributed team of QAE’s, SET’s, and Automation Engineers.
• Establish a strong connection between customer scenarios and pre-release test coverage and automation.
• Lead design and building of automated tests for Nextech’s products.
• Evangelize quality engineering best practices with Product, Development and DevOps teams.
• Drive continuous improvements in product testing processes.
• Empower team to learn and grow and support them in their career goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT Management or relevant field.
• Solid knowledge of C#, Angular, SQL, and cloud hosting.
• 7-10 years industry experience, including testing of robust, scalable micro-service back ends.
• 3+ years’ experience managing and leading quality engineering teams working on enterprise products.
• Hands-on experience with industry-standard test automation tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, Playwright, RestAssured, Pact, JMeter and Azure load testing tools.
• Experience in CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps/GitHub Pipelines.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in test engineering within the payments sector.
• Familiarity with Stripe for payment processing solutions.
• Skilled in using Git and GitHub for version control and collaboration.
• In-depth experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps for cloud computing and development operations.
• Practical experience with Jira for project management and issue tracking.
