Development Support Engineer (Gamedev)

What you will do

• Provide primary support to animators and environment artists within the Tools team.
• Diagnose issues with exporters, data processing pipelines, and automation systems.
• Manage incoming support requests and collaborate with Tools Leads and Programmers.
• Gain deep understanding of artist workflows and data translation into the game engine.
• Communicate and escalate frequently reported issues to improve overall pipeline efficiency.

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in a technical support role within the games industry or software development.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration.
• Experience using bug tracking software such as JIRA.
• Ability to learn new software tools and complex artistic workflows quickly.
• Ability to work effectively under schedule deadlines.

Nice to have

• Experience in AAA development environments.
• Degree in Game Production, Design, Data Science, or related fields.
• Familiarity with digital content creation packages.
• Proficiency in 3ds Max MaxScript, Motionbuilder, or Maya.
