What you will do
- Define and execute the operational strategy for new merchant acquiring products from scratch.
- Manage complex operational paths including chargebacks, hardware support, and transaction reconciliation.
- Establish SLAs and KPIs to monitor performance and drive continuous improvements.
- Collaborate with Product, Tech, and Customer Operations teams to shape technical solutions.
- Partner with FinCrime and Fraud teams to balance risk management with user experience.
- Champion operational best practices to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Requirements
- Right to work in the UK required.
- Extensive experience in operations within an acquirer or card acceptance provider.
- Deep understanding of the card transaction lifecycle, including Auth, Capture, Settlement, and Chargeback processes.
- Knowledge of scheme rules, PCI-DSS, and fraud mitigation strategies for acquiring.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience leveraging data to develop scalable strategies.
- Systems thinking approach to problem-solving and process optimization.
