What you will do
- Set the strategic direction and vision for the payments platform in collaboration with leadership.
- Define and track key performance indicators to align team output with business objectives.
- Solve complex technical and business problems involving risk, compliance, and systems architecture.
- Partner closely with Engineering Managers and stakeholders to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Shape the roadmap and continuously refine product features based on customer feedback and data.
Requirements
- Deep experience in the European financial services sector, including card issuing and e-money accounts.
- Must be physically based in the UK, Denmark, or Spain with a valid right to work.
- Ability to balance big-picture strategy with hands-on technical details regarding API design and payment flows.
- Strong communication skills to align stakeholders and inspire cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to use data-driven insights to guide prioritization and decision-making.
